Hi, my name is Jen. I'm originally from CA but currently I am in Kansas and enjoy being near my grand children. Yep, grandchildren. That is crazy isn't it!!!

I built my business in 2000 and have loved every minute of it. I search for great stuff. I find it on the road side, at estate sales, salvage yards, internet and people even give me great things. It truly is trash to treasure.

I take something that people think is not good for anything and I turn it into something useful and beautiful. My Husband use to say that it was kind of like Jesus, the way He would make someone new again. I love remembering that.

An old delapidated dresser can be made into something beautiful again. An old worn out door can be created into a beautiful table. Some old scrap piece of wood can become your new birdhouse.

I just love my work. And it is helping with the green movement too, I am recycling what people are throwing or giving away.

Come take a look and see what I do. I love it so much, it is my passion. I am so grateful to God for giving me this wonderful gift. If nothing else, I am truly blessed with that.

Ordering and Shipping for Retail

We accept Visa, MC, Paypal, Money Orders and Personal Checks. We use secure and safe shopping cart, and some items are still using Paypal buy it now. If you prefer to use your credit card over the phone please call us at 785-639-5005.

Your order will be filled as promptly as possible. Furniture orders that are in stock ship out within one week depending on location and shipping carrier used (we do not ship Saturdays, Sundays or holidays). Special orders that are not in stock can take 2-4 weeks depending on materials on hand. We will follow up with you on suggested delivery times via email or phone call. You will be notified of any delays beyond 10 days after the receipt of your order. Items ordered together may not be shipped out on the same day. Shipping charges will be determined by delivery location and size of furniture. We will ship via FedEx and have FedEx billed directly to your card in most cases. All orders secure, no personal information ever kept or shared! Safe & Secure online ordering. We don't even see your card number, it goes straight through the bank. Orders are debited at time you place the order and will ship within 2 weeks (4 weeks if items are to be built).

Return Policy: All of our merchandise is unconditionally guaranteed. If you are not satisfied with your purchase for any reason, let us know and we will take care of you. Customers can return merchandise for credit only within 7 days of delivery. All returns will be charged a 25% restocking fee to cover the cost of handling the item, insurance and damages. Returns must be made in the original packaging and boxes. The customer will also be responsible for all shipping charges to return furniture to A Bit of Paris Warehouse in Kansas. But no packages will be accepted without Return Authorization first. All sale merchandise is final sale. If merchandise is damaged upon arrival, A Bit of Paris will give the customer an even exchange, but a claim must be filed with the carrier. Special order cancellations must be within a 24 hour period for a refund. For any other information please Contact Us via email or phone. We do not accept returns without Return Authorization.
Wholesale Policy: All orders require a half down non refundable payment and balance to be paid at time order is ready to ship.
User Agreement

This agreement contains the terms of service between A Bit of Paris/shabby and chic styled Unique and you, the customer. This agreement may be modified at the discretion of Bit of Paris/shabby and chic styled Unique without notification to the customer. By using this Web site, you agree to be held accountable to all the terms and conditions described in this document.

Wholesale Orders:

Our items are hand built, not mass produced. Each item is unique in its own way. All items are subject to indifferences as shown in picture as all items are created individually. We try hard to stick as close as we can to the picture, change due to materials on hand. Orders take from 2-4 weeks on hand built items, depending on work load ,materials on hand and size of order. Call with any questions. Due to each item being a custom one of a kind, all wholesale orders are non-refundable. All wholesale orders require non-refundable down-payment in advance.

Our main goal here at A Bit of Paris is to gain back that old vintage look what we call shabby and chic styled Unique , Paris apartment, rustic and cottage appeal. All of our furnishings are handmade here in Tennessee. I salvage vintage materials and use them as often as possible. With the use of lumber from old barns and homes, hardware from old homes and salvage yards. Some of our items are few of a kind so get it while you can.
